Tiffany McAnarney
In a hectic and unpredictable world, finding space to pause and submerge into one’s inner existence is a rarity. It can be difficult to allow ourselves this space until happenstances like grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and burnout pull the rug out from under us. All living things on this planet, humans included, are conditioned by their environment and genetics. Years of our life are spent implicitly being influenced by others and life experiences. Processing through how these influences and experiences have impacted us explicitly bring them to awareness.
As a fellow explorer in another’s world, my presence is to provide insight, observations, and offer tools. During the process of therapy, we together provide space to create the conditions, behaviors, and thoughts by which we *choose* to be shaped.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and formally trained watercolor painter. My experience as an artist has influenced my therapeutic approach towards the humanistic, existential, and person-centered. This means sessions are creatively tailored to who you are a person, and adaptive to the unique needs you have.
Amanda Littlejohn, M.Ed, LPC
Hi, I’m Amanda and I look forward to collaborating with you to work towards the changes you envision making in your life or the life of your little one. I work with children, adolescents and adults who are seeking to make changes to be in a better place behaviorally, emotionally and socially. It can be hard taking the first step to ask for help and I strive to make our time together a safe space for you. I focus on creating a stable, therapeutic relationship to aid in your or your child’s healing and journey.
I have a unique personal and professional perspective that helps children/adolescents adjust to change, life transitions, trauma and all life stressors that we didn’t imagine our children/adolescents would have to navigate. I have experience as a parent, teacher and Licensed Professional Counselor that allows me to use an eclectic approach to meet the needs of each client I work with.
Whether you are needing to work on personal/professional growth, depression, anxiety or are in need of parent coaching, let’s work together to create meaningful and successful changes. I am a firm believer there is not a one size fits all approach and when given the resources and tools, growth is inevitable!
